Established in 1987, A.L. Campbell Haulage is a small family run business based at Carstairs Junction, Scotland. Allan Campbell purchased his first Volvo truck in 1986 with a tipping trailer and through years of hard work the business expanded.
The Company now runs predominantly Scania trucks with a trailer fleet that comprises refrigerated, tipping and walking floor trailers covering the UK and Europe. The continued growth of the business saw the acquisition of Strawfrank Farm in 2010, which had always been the base for the haulage yard. Building new offices and a workshop allowed the business and the Campbell’s home to be under one umbrella. Through the high level of service provided and good customer relationships, it remains a strong family business today.
