C. J. Haynes & Son was founded in 1920 in the village of Sherington, Buckinghamshire where they still operate from some 81 years later, on exactly the same site. A family run company, Haynes & Son was originally established to transport bricks for the London Brick Co. Based at Stewartby. Today, the company operate nationally and have progressed from flatbeds and tippers to their present fleet of striking Scania tractor units. This particular model is driven by the great grandson of the founder, as C. J. Haynes & Son enter its fourth generation and it can be seen regularly at Truck shows around Europe. All their vehicles have been fully customised internally and externally with some in-house specialist parts to improve overall performance
