Corgi CC14028 Volvo FH Upgrade Fridge Trailer – J Richardson – Stranraer

John Richardson founded the business in 1967 and since then has operated from a number of sites in the Stranraer region. The firm moved to their present location at Culmore Farm in Stoneykirk in 2002 where they have offices, workshop and storage facilities. John Richardson began hauling fertiliser direct from the supplier to the end consumer, the many farmers of the region. The fleet originally consisted of around six rigid vehicles including Austin, Morris and Bedford trucks, before moving onto Dodge and ERF. The firm’s first ERF tractor unit was purchased in the early 70’s and the first Volvo in 1982 and they have been using the reliable Swedish built units ever since with a fleet of ten exemplified by this striking Volvo FH.
