Corgi CC14111 DAF 105 Flatbed and Skip Load – Paul Hinchliffe Transport Ltd – Bury

Paul Hinchliffe established the firm in 2004 with a DAF 95. He is the grandson of one half of J & H Hinchliffe, the famous Walmersley, Bury-based firm and drove for the firm for sixteen years before the company ceased trading in 2001. Paul continued as a company driver before going it alone gradually building up general haulage work. To maximise the usage of his tractor unit, Paul employed his father, Geoff, to do TNT truck work in the evening. With business doing well, Paul extended his fleet with this immaculate DAF XF 105 Super Space cab, purchased from David G. Davies of Glossop. This striking traditional livery was completed by Taylor Commercials with sign writing courtesy of Rossendale’s David Plant and was the featured vehicle in Truck & Driver October 2010.
