The East Lancs Myllennium, modelled here, represents the London Sovereign operated route 114. Route 114 is an old route; references can be found dating back to 1933 when it ran from Edgware to Rayners Lane. The East Lancs body on Volvo B7TL chassis, came to the forefront when London Sovereign’s parent company, London United, needed to find a replacement for the unreliable fleet of DAFs. After testing a number of vehicle options, the East Lancs entered the fleet for the first time. This particular vehicle VLE 27 (PA04 CYK) runs westbound along Eastcote Lane.
