Corgi CC82264 Mini Se7en – Mark Smith

Built from a brand new Rover Mini Sport shell in 2002 by Mark Wanstall at Rightline Motorsport. Mark Smith acquired the car in 2007 and in the winter gave it a loving overhaul to bring it up to 2008 specifications which included new sub-frames, re-fabricating the roll cage, seat position and weight loss. Engines were given to Peter Vickers Race Engines for development. Peter returned the engines to maximum power and reliability. In the 2008 championship Mark Smith, 41, a company director from Leigh-on-Sea Essex finished 3rd in the championship in his first full year after drop scores. However he scored the most points if all 10 rounds were counted. Sponsorship was provided by I.T.S Telecom Ltd, an advanced IP Telephony communications company.
